This was by far one of the coolest things I've done in SF. I thought I knew a lot about the city until I went on this tour! Thanks for a great time!

Great tour.

This trip was the most informative of all the tours we went on while in San Francisco. It is better than a double decker bus or large tour bus tour because you get around faster and can easily ask questions. The best part was hearing about the history of San Francisco. Book this tour instead of a large bus tour and you won't be disappointed. Bring a warm coat and maybe even a hat if it is a windy day; blankets are provided.

This is an intimate tour with a small group. We got to see all the sights, and it was fun, too. This is a small, family-owned business, and we felt good about patronizing Mr Toad's instead of going with one of the larger bus tours. Dress extra warm if it's a cold day; the car did have heaters in the flooring and blankets to keep people warm, but dressing warm is key to enjoying the tour.

Having done many tours in different cities, I know what a difference a good tour guide can make. Our guide, while polite and earnest, was not as entertaining as I expected or would have liked.
