Carmel is now overrated I think! Monterey and Sausalito are fantastic! I would have loved to have gone the extra miles down the coast into the Big Sur area.

Unfortunately our trip was on a bad day, cold and wet. This apart, the scenery we could see was fabulous. Both Carmel and Monterey are very pretty, and the 17 Mile Drive was lovely. Worth doing, especially on a sunny day!

Too much packed into the day, only 1 hour given at aquarium...this place needs longer than an hour!
