It was an amazing experience to explore the catacombs with a priest. I think the Appian Road should not be missed along with the ancient aquaducts.

The tour guide was extremly knowledgable. The sights we saw were beautiful. The tour was quick enough for me to head over and see the Vatican City afterwards. The 3rd century Christian catacombs were tied with the Colosseum as the most impressive thing in Rome. The Appian Way and the Aqueduct park are beautiful and you need to have your camera in your hands to capture everything about them.

The catacombs tour was with another guide and was OK but afterward it was disorganized and the guide was not really into the day.
