The Barcelona Card is well worth getting as a good and cost effective way to travel around the city. A good tip is to get the bus route map as this gives you the bus number, route and where to get onand off. We had to get our own, really this should come with the tickets. Also the Barcelona Card would be even better if you could use it on the Turistic Bus as this would complete all travel links around this lovely city.

Definitely worth it. We did discover a mistake - the Maritime Museum is not free and no ticket is included as advertised. However, the entry fee is discounted. That museum was in turmoil and "not at it's best". CosmoCaixa, the science museum, was one of the best of its type in Europe. As for Viator - a good service. Glad to have used them.

Even in February, there is plenty to do in Barcelona! We had a fabulous long weekend there.

Card made travel in Barcelona very easy, and there are certainly many discounts offered. However, maps were often difficult to make out accurately, though I suppose getting lost is all part of the travel experience. Generally a useful card to have as one could hop on and off different forms of public transportation.

A waste of money. We didn't use it at all as we were walking distance from everything. I would recommend fellow travelers getting a metro pass which allows you on the bus for the duration of your time.
